WEDDING GOWN AND VEIL

The creation of this wedding gown started from slopers. The bodice features lacings inside to making zipping up easy. It was perfectly sculpted to comfortably support the weight of the dress while also supporting the bust and not sliding down. The lace applique was hand-pieced to seamlessly cover the silk satin body. Ripped strips of silk organza were folded, carefully placed, and sewn to mask the underskirt and create a gentle, organic movement which has no end or begninning. The veil features a ripped silk chiffon selvage edging to compliment the skirt of the dress. A silk gauze creates the body of the veil to give it a light and airy movement.
